Namushka Lodge is located on the beautiful island filled Harding Lake (Lat. 62° 25’ N, Long. 113° 21’ W) 33 air miles (53 km) east of Yellowknife, the capital of the Northwest Territories. The Lodge boasts exclusive fishing rights to the clear, deep and unpolluted lake. (see map)
Summer
There are daily major airline service between Yellowknife and Edmonton or Calgary. You will be met at the Yellowknife airport and taken to the float base to board a floatplane for the 20 min flight to Namushka Lodge on Harding Lake.
For first-timers to the north, the floatplane trip itself will be an adventure. For those travelling to Yellowknife by road, the Mackenzie Highway is a well-maintained all-weather paved road offering interesting stops and scenery and an opportunity to see herds of free-roaming bison

Winter
Coming to Namushka Lodge in the winter can be done in two ways. You can charter a ski-plane, which is a plane that can take off and land on frozen lakes, or you can snowmobile to the lodge from Yellowknife or the Reid Lake campground parking lot. If you choose to snowmobile from Yellowknife you can find a mapped route here. Note that Namushka Lodge does not take any responsibility for guests who snowmobile to the lodge.
